Below you will find information from Oak Valley about tomorrow evening:

Welcome to Oak Valley and we look forward to our meet. Here are the basic logistics and timeline for the meet.

Address: 261 Oak Valley Boulevard, Advance, NC 27006

Parking: Parking lot will fill up rather quickly – you’re welcome to drop off the swimmers and park alongside Oak Valley Boulevard. Please do not park in the clubhouse parking lot across the street.

Arrival me: 4:30 PM. Please do not arrive/park prior to this time as we will need to clear the pool and get our setup crew on deck.

Warm ups: Oak Valley warm up 4:45-5:05, visiting team 5:05-5:25

Official/Timer meeting: 5:15 at the front of the pool (outside of the gate); we will provide DQ slips, timer sheets, stopwatches and pencils.

Meet start: Approximately 5:30 PM

Your team is welcome to occupy the far end of the pool, but please have your swimmers/spectators steer clear of the official’s tent and walk BEHIND the tent. Deck chairs are allowed on deck and encouraged. Please note that the baby pool is CLOSED during the swim meet due to no guard being available.

Concessions (hamburgers/cheeseburgers, hot dogs, drinks and snacks) will be available throughout the meet. (cash and cards via Square)

We will be using one whistle (ready) and a buzzer (start) commands. Please let your swimmers know so the younger swimmers are aware on what to expect. We will also plan on employing dive overs for swimmer over 11. 

We will send out heat sheets as soon as we receive them tomorrow. 

Also we still need some volunteer help for tomorrow.
