Just wanted to remind you that City Meet registration will close this Sunday, June 8 at noon.

Also, we may have had a glitch with the registration link. I have the following families signed up: Abernethy, Chandler, Kozadayev, Soriano. I am so sorry if you registered already and are not listed here. Please go ahead and declare again. The link is definitely working now!

Don't forget, if you are over 19, you can swim this meet! Just reply back to the email, and we'll get entered. We have other adults registered to swim. You won't be swimming alone. :)

"Life is a Journey - Enjoy the Swim!"

Hi parents,

Sorry for so many emails in a row, but we wanted to get you information about City Meet in a timely manner.

City Meet is a fun, themed, outdoor meet hosted by TYDE. Many of the teams in the GFSL attend, so it’s a great way for kids to experience swimming in a larger meet. It’s held at Bolton Park’s outdoor pool and will take place on Friday, June 20. 10 & under swim in the morning (warm-ups currently slated to begin at 8AM), and 11 & over swim in the afternoon (warm-ups currently slated to begin at 1:00PM). Warm-up times may be slightly adjusted once entries have been received.

A few things to note…

1. There are entry fees per swimmer. These fees are non-refundable and will be charged to your Westwood account.

• $6.50/individual event (each swimmer can swim up to 4 individual events),
• $12/relay (4 swimmers to a relay, so each swimmer is charged $3). Each swimmer can swim up to 2 relays),
• $8.50 surcharge per swimmer for electronic heat sheet and pool & timing system rental.

2. Adults 19 & over can swim in this meet. You must be a Westwood member or coach. We had a few parents swim last year, and it was super fun. 😊

3. Registration is open! Log into SwimTopia to declare your swimmers. Registration will close Sunday, June 8 at noon.

• Since there are fees, we will contact you after your register to find out what your swimmers would like to swim. It’s your/their choice! Feel free to also put it in the "notes" section when you register.
• If you are 19 & over and would like to swim in this meet, please reply back to this email. There is a different process for your registration.
