When does swim team practice begin, and what is the practice schedule?

What is the meet schedule?

As in past summers, most swim meets take place on Tuesday evenings. However, there are a few meets that aren’t on a Tuesday. Click here to view the full schedule.

How do I order a team swim suit for my swimmer(s)?

There have been a lot of variations with our team swim suit over the last few years. We are pleased to announce that this year's suit is the final version. It features the new Westwood Club logo, and it will not change next summer! Here is a link to the team store website, where you can order team swag. We encourage all swimmers to purchase a team suit, but a plain black swim suit (or previous team suit) is also acceptable. If you aren’t sure what size swim suit to order, Westwood has a sizing kit. Contact Daffaney Young at [email protected] to schedule a fitting. As a reminder, each registered swimmer receives a complimentary team shirt and team cap.

We also encourage parents to show their Westwood team spirit at swim meets and purchase their own Westwood t-shirt. Make sure you order by Friday, May 2 to receive everything in time for the start of season.

Who will be coaching this season?

Terry Biles will be returning for his third consecutive summer as head coach for the Waves. We also have several high school-age assistant/junior coaches, who all have swim experience. Click here to read a bit about each of our amazing coaches.
