This summer, our club manager (and former swimmer and coach), Kirsten Rempfer, and assistant swim team coach Nina Howards, will be offering Stroke Clinic Saturdays.

These clinics provide swimmers the chance to learn tips and tricks to improve their technique. Stroke Clinics are great for all levels of swimmers - from those who have completed basic swim lessons to experienced competitive swimmers looking to refine their techniques.
*Please note that swimmers must be able to complete at least 2 lengths of the pool unassisted to participate. Sign up on the Club Calendar!

Clinics will be offered as follows and will have a maximum of 20 participants per clinic. Cost is $5 per clinic.

10 and Under – 9:00am to 9:45am

11 and Up – 10:00am to 11:00am

June 4^th – Backstroke
June 11^th – Breaststroke
June 18^th – Butterfly
June 25th – Racing Starts
July 2^nd – Flip Turns

Kirsten began swimming on her Greensboro summer league when she was 8 years old and continued the sport with GSA (Greensboro Swim Association) and Southwest Guilford High School. At age 16 she began teaching swim lessons and coaching for her summer club. While managing the High Point Country Club, Kirsten taught swim lessons (both group and private) and was the Head Coach of the High Point Country Club Sharks in 2018 and 2019. She knows that solid technique is imperative to being a successful swimmer. She is excited to share her love for swimming with our members at Westwood!

Nina swims for Enfinity Aquatic Club and Reynolds High School. She is an enthusiastic instructor who loves helping swimmers improve their technique.
