Hello Waves!

Our 10 & unders had a great practice this morning with Olympic swimmers Gunther Osario-Rodriguez and Neisser Bent, learning about the importance of streamlining, long reach freestyle, and backstroke finishes. See the attached photos. A big thank you to Gunther and Neisser for spending the morning with our younger Waves!

Our last regular season meet is this Tuesday July 6: Waterford @ WW. Please let us know by this Sunday @ 2 pm via Swimtopia if you are "attending" or "not attending." The sooner we know the better, so please don't wait until Sunday afternoon to respond if you know now whether you will participate or not. We'd appreciate not having to send texts, emails, and make phone calls to those who have not declared. 

LEAGUE FINALS: The Greater Forsyth Swim League Championships are on Monday July 12 at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. Please let us know via Swimtopia by Monday July 5 @ 1pm (noon) if you are available to swim. The portal is now open.

Here is the schedule for the championship meet:

6 & unders: 7:45 am  - 9:30 am

7-10 yr olds:  8:45 am - 1:00 pm

11-18(19) yr olds: 1:15 pm - 5:30 pm

We will do our best with the entries, but please note that "available to swim" does not guarantee you a spot in the finals. Nor should you assume you won't be in the finals. We simply won't know until we see who is available.

We continue to see great progress in stroke technique and many swimmers posting personal best times. Keep up the good work!
